Subject: Feb. 16 Rental Inspection Meeting
Council,
I have been in SLO since 1964. 1 have rented property as a CalPoly student and now I am a landlord. I own four houses in
SLO and I find no reason whatsoever for any inspection program which I find invasive and a violation of my civil rights.
This program will only drive up rents, reduce rental availability and will drive fixed income seniors out of the market.
There are already enough statutes on the books to deal with landlord bad actors, just enforce them.
