This is a letter of objection on the Rental Housing Initiative. This is nothing but a blatant
attempt to extort money from the owners of rental properties and their renters by the city
council under the guise of safety. If the city is really concerned about safety they should
inspect every home and dwelling in San Luis Obispo with the same rules as this initiative.
Repeal this unfair initiative.
