Dear Mayor Harmon and City Council members,
Please repeal the unconstitutional inspection ordinance that caused me to lose my housing. An inspection of
my housing allowed my greedy landlord to be able to have an excuse to act like he was going to remodel and
fix things. I received a termination of tenancy letter after I lived there for 8 years taking care of my mother and
he did nothing. Once I was out he then d put new carpet and a new counter top and raised the rent $500 a
month. After living in SLO for almost 40 years it took me a year to find another place to live. This is not OK.
The rich are pushing the working people out of town. there needs to be rent control if anything not needless
inspections. thankyou, kathi DiPeri
