Dear City Council,
I own a property in SLO. I pride myself on providing safe and healthy housing. I feel the program is a gross
invasion of privacy.
I agree that rentals should be safe and healthy for tenants. Code enforcement for violators should be very
expensive and only those with violations should be punished severely and effectively.
It is my experience that tenants will complain if their housing is substandard or there are problems. Calpoly
should educate students to make complaints about substandard housing.
