WHile stating in a recent resolution that SLO should be a "welcoming city" for immigrants, I suggest we should improve on this by
making SLO a Sanctuary City; that is, one where people can feel safe letting their children go to school without worrying about a
family member being picked up by the police. Anything less than this is just fluff.
