Subject: Comment on Strategic Budget
Hi,
My name is Sierra Layous and I live in San Luis Obispo. I just wanted to voice my support for the
bicycle/pedestrian Penny Lane bridge and the bridge over the RR near the CHP office. I believe both projects
allow pedestrians and bicyclists to use those forms of transportation without incurring the risk associated with
crossing and riding down streets like California and Johnson. I have a young daughter I hope to ride my bike to
work/daycare with, but I have had more than one close call on California. I hope the city continues its support
and development for safe routes for alternative transportation.
