Subject: Opposed to Item 9 on 5/16/17 agenda, Staff report p 153.
Dear Elected Official,
We both are adamantly opposed to your desire to follow the staff report that would assess people for infiltrated lateral
sewer lines.
We concur with Mr Richard Schmidt view that infiltration is not the cause of sewer line overload. It is obvious to even
a causal observer that storm inflow is the major cause of spills. Correct this situation.
Thank you for taking a very critical look at this issue and oppose the staff recommendation.
