Good evening Mayor Harmon and Council Members,
I am writing you tonight in hopes that you will NOT reallocate the Parkland Funds reserved for the North
Broad Area Neighborhood Park.
I reside on Serrano Heights Dr. in San Luis Obispo and will be directly impacted by your decision.
As a longtime neighborhood resident and licensed Foster Family we are excited by the possibility of a
new neighborhood park, and saddened to hear that the unrelated city improvements might draw from
the fund intended for park and recreation areas for our children.
I know that your roles in service to our community are difficult ones, and I empathize with the varying
interests you must consider in your decisions.
I will close by asking again that you not take from the funds allocated for neighborhood park.
