Subject:2017-2019 Preliminary Financial Plan: Foothill Crossing
Dear Mayor and Council,
Thank you for budgeting $50,000 (2017-18) & $250,000 (2018-19) in CIP for the "Safe Route To School
Implementation: Foothill Crossing." I live in the Anholm neighborhood with a 2 year old daughter and a baby
on the way. I eagerly look forward to seeing this project completed by the time my children start attending
Bishop Peak Elementary school.
We are committed to replacing all of our in town trips by biking and walking. Projects like this will greatly help
us achieve that goal.
I urge you to keep this money earmarked as is when the 2017-2019 Financial Plan is finalized next month.
