Subject: North Broad St. Neighborhood Park
Dear Mayor Harmon & City Council Members:
Since a new Park in the North Broad St. Neighborhood was an adopted City policy with $900,000 designated in the 2016-
17 budget, why are you having a problem with the funding? A new Park in this neighborhood is included in the City’s
General Plan! This Neighborhood has been requesting this as a desired additional strategic item for years. Staff agrees
that this could easily be added as a task. Your approval should be a no-brainer! Please support this already allocated
request & give this Neighborhood a Park that has been so desperately needed for so long!
