Subject:Saving the $900,000 Parkland Fund
Dear Mayor and City Council Members,
Since 2001 the General Plan: Parks and Recreation Element, was updated to show that a neighborhood park in the
Broad /Highway101/Foothill Boulevard area was an UNMET need. Please preserve the Parkland fund of $900,000 for
the purchase of land for a park in the North Broad Street area and have staff pursue this goal.
