Subject:North Broad Park
City Council Members,
Please do not remove money from the fund to build a park in the North Broad area. Please keep that money
intact to provide this wonderful community building spot to our area. Please continue with the plan already in
place to secure a spot and complete this project. The other uses of the money, while worthwhile, do not
complete the same goals and objectives as the park.
With the large and expanding number of college students in the area the park gives families and children a place
to gather together. It also provides a vital opportunity for play in the lives of children, which is crucial in
development and increasingly overlooked and absent with the dominance of technology.
Please save the North Broad Park Fund and make it a priority to complete.
