Pedestrian and bicycle safety have significant income sources available both locally via Citywide Transportation Impact Fees, Local Revenue Measures and General Finds designed for Capital Improvement Infrastructure & Transportation as well as State Transportation Dept Act Fees and the new SB 1 Billion dollars. Multimodal Transportation Circulation Element projects are allocated 19 million dollars (see page A-28). Additional grant funding opportunities need to be pursued rather than raiding the North Broad Park Fund. The issue are not related. 1 2 4
