Subject:North Broad area neighborhood park
Dear San Luis Obispo City Council Members, My grandchildren's ancestors settled in San Luis Obispo County in the 1860s
and in the city of San Luis Obispo in the 1930s. San Luis Obispo has changed a lot since then. Our population has
increased significantly but we have not continued to add places for children to gather and play at that same rate.
Neighborhood parks are a wonderful place for families and children of all ages to gather! The previous council members
made a commitment of $900,000 to develop a neighborhood park in the N. Broad St. area. Please, keep your
commitment!
