Hello:
I would like to encourage you to send a message of support from San Luis Obispo to the state legislature in favor of SB
562. As a retired nurse, NP and midwife, I saw first hand what it was like for patients to not have adequate insurance
coverage to get basic health care, let alone critical care.
I believe SB 562 will, in the end, save our state money. ER visits by the uninsured are extremely expensive, and this is
where the uninsured go for primary care.
California can lead the nation in providing universal health care for all our citizens. Please consider voting to send a
message to the governor and the legislature in support of SB 562.
