Dear council,
The federal government has been hijacked and is not taking a lead in providing the basic need of health care for
its citizens.
Many families in our state are uninsured, under insured, or have health insurance that no provider accepts.
We are leaving too many people vulnerable to financial instability or bankruptcy, with prescription medications
too high and medical plans that cover too little or are un-affordable.
California can be a leader as we support a single payer health care model, health care or medicare for all.
The stage is set to do the right action now.
