Subject:Support Healthy California - SB562
Hello Council,
I am writing to you to support Healthy California - SB 562. This is the healthcare reform we need. As all other
wealthy nations have stated - healthcare is a human right. Health is not like any other business endeavor, like
buying a pair of jeans and a new car. Human health is vital to our economy and influences our productivity.
This healthcare bill would:
1. cover everyone - medicare for all
2. provide comprehensive, medically necessary coverage, including vision and dental
3. reduce cost by controlling prescription drug costs and eliminating outrageous salaries to insurance
companies and profits to stockholders
I appreciate you taking the time to read this and please support SB 562.
