Subject:Support for San Luis Ranch
Dear City Council,
I urge you to support the San Luis Ranch project. As a full time real estate agent and young professional
myself, I see the struggles our workforce has affording homes in this area.
We are losing great young professionals and families, not only to neighboring cities, but to other parts of the
country. If we want our businesses to continue to thrive, they need access to wonderful employees, who need to
be able to afford homes.
The lack of inventory in the city has been a key factor in the staggering increase in home prices, which has
gotten to a point that many potential homebuyers have been priced out of the market. The proposed diverse
range of affordable and workforce housing can aide in a more balanced and healthy market, benefiting the
community as whole.
I have seen many developments come into the city in my 11 years in real estate and this plan is the most well-
rounded, community focused plan I have seen.
I urge you to support the San Luis Ranch project.
