As a local small business owner we try to keep our employee salaries very competitive, but competitive salaries are not enough for our people to be able to plant roots in the city. There are many past employees of ours that leave this area to pursue affordable living for their families. These roots are now planted elsewhere. I see the San Luis Ranch project and projects like this as a way for local businesses to be able to retain their valued employees as they grow with the local business, grow within the SLO community. We pride ourselves with having the best quality of living in the world, best community, happiest place on earth. I want to make sure we can share this sentiment to my employees. I want them to live the SLO life for a very long time. John Lim, CTO TekTegrity, Inc.
