Subject:San Luis Ranch Project Letter of Support
SLO City Council,
I am writing to support the San Luis Ranch project. Although I am not a resident of San Luis Obispo, I have
been in the community for 20 years, I work in SLO, and have been involved in the community in many ways.
As an employee of a large business, I feel very blessed to have a great position in a good company, however
even at that I've been unable to find affordable housing in San Luis Obispo. My family has tried to move to San
Luis Obispo on two occasions to avoid a commute into the Five Cities area, and in both occasions we ultimately
decided that the price of the homes in SLO compared to the age of the homes was not a good fit. SLO definitely
needs more affordable housing, and I support this project.
Please give serious consideration to this project as a viable contribution towards the City's existing housing
problems.
