Subject:July 5th - BIG Support for San Luis Ranch
Dear Mayor Harmon and City Council,
I want to voice my personal support for this legacy project proposed by CCB, as well as the support of one of the
employers that has been asking for workforce house, Digital West.
Early on, Mr. Grossman approached me to consider this project, as an employer, as well as a pilot and aviation
enthusiast. Seeing what this project brought to the community, it was easy for me to be supportive in both roles. Our
community needs a strong airport to be vibrant, and our airport needs an economically strong community to support it
and maintain its longevity.
Now that all other bodies have voted to approve this project, it is before you to push it past the finish line. I support the
known benefits of workforce housing, the large amount of open space, and the multimodal transportation options. But
I’ll add that this entire project will be built with fiber connectivity everywhere, possibly the first larger-scale residential
developments with fiber-to-the-home. That’s exciting, right?? :)
Please add my letter of support to the large pile that you’ve received from encouraged and supportive citizens for this
project.
