Subject:Affordable housing
I urge you to support the San Luis Ranch project because if you work here, you should be able
to live here. We are losing great young professionals and families, not only to neighboring
cities, but to other parts of the country. If we want our business to continue to thrive, they need
access to wonderful employees, who need to be able to afford homes. The diverse range of
affordable and workforce housing can begin to put a dent in the supply we so desperately
need!
This is too fine an area to be loosing a valuable work force......I have lived in San Luis
Obispo since 1980 and have seen the cost of living gradually become prohibitive for many
young families to thrive comfortably while they rightfully attempt to enhance their financial
resources.
Please, again, support the San Luis Ranch project...it will become a valuable asset to our
community.
