How in the world does one buy a $1 M dollar home, but earn $11 an hour, even with a degree!? Supply and demand. Really, it's become an area where only the older, wealthy population can afford. Or, Poly parents. So dumb. They are forcing out residents. Buying homes, charging a fortune for their kid and friends for four (or more likely five) years, then selling it for triple. It's gross. ' We, as residents, should not have to work three and four jobs just to afford to RENT a home, never mind consider buying one! As a single parent, who barely got her kids out alive, and who, by the way, are doing great. This would be an awesome venture and one that should be pursued. I may not stay here, as like many before me, we can't afford to! - but would love to see this project come about. Sadly, I can't make it to the meeting. Why? I have to work my second job to afford to rent a tiny place here. And I have a pretty darn good full time job. But alone, it's not enough to survive here. I am a great public speaker too, so would love to have my voice heard. Please have another one! Julie LaBrecque 375 High Street San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 1
