I support Workforce Housing
Dear City Council:
My husband and I both work in SLO, but have to rent in Paso Robles due to the outrageously
high rents and prices of housing (for purchase) here in SLO. We would love to be able to save
gas and time by living here in SLO, closer to our jobs.
I urge you to support the San Luis Ranch project because if you work here, you should be able
to live here. We are losing great young professionals and families, not only to neighboring
cities, but to other parts of the country. If we want our business to continue to thrive, they need
access to wonderful employees, who need to be able to afford homes. The diverse range of
affordable and workforce housing can begin to put a dent in the supply we so desperately
need!
