Dear City Council:
I urge you to support the San Luis Ranch project because if you work here, you should be able to live
here. We are losing great young professionals and families, not only to neighboring cities, but to other
parts of the country. If we want our business to continue to thrive, they need access to wonderful
employees, who need to be able to afford homes. The diverse range of affordable and workforce housing
can begin to put a dent in the supply we so desperately need!
My husband works in San Luis and has for many years. We live in Santa Maria as housing isn't affordable
closer to his work. Please strongly consider allowing this housing to go forward!
