Dear Mayor Harmon and members of the SLO City Council:
On behalf of Canzona Women's Ensemble singers and board
members, we wish to express our appreciation for your continued
support of our musical endeavors here in San Luis Obispo. We just
returned from the annual Chorus America conference, where we
were reminded of the impact that choirs have in their varied
communities, and we are so grateful that you recognize the value we
offer to our community. We are particularly proud of our
engagement with young female choristers and our efforts to foster
their love of singing, as well as our primary mission to celebrate
women's choral repertoire and women composers.
