Dear Assembly Member Frazier:
The City of San Luis Obispo supports your AB 1591, which would provide much
needed funding to the state and local roadway to address the overwhelming backlog of
preservation and maintenance.
AB 1591 would provide local street and road systems with over $2 billion annually.
In addition to local streets and roads, your bill would provide funding to other important
segments of California's under -funded transportation system, including the state highway
system, trade corridors, and transit.
For these reasons, the City of San Luis Obispo supports your AB 1591.
