Subject:The Chorro/Broad bike plan
To Council,
I am a resident on Chorro St, between Murray and Mission. I have two kids and we ride bikes downtown and to school
often. My concerns have never been in the neighborhood, they are on foothill and downtown. I appreciate the City’s
move towards safer bike paths but feel that the options suggested in the Chorro/ Broad bike plan do very little to
improve safety. If I had to support any of the options it would be Alternative 3: Traffic Calming on Broad & Chorro
without traffic diversion. I always think taking steps to slow cars in neighborhoods is a positive thing. I appreciate your
time and consideration.
