Dear Members of the SLO City Council,
Below follows an email I sent to Mayor Harmon. It speaks for itself. Don't even think about putting
a bike lane on Broad Street. Ours is a town of narrow streets. Adding a bike lane to Broad Street
would narrow it further. In her response, Mayor Harmon brought up the possibility of Lincoln
Street as an alternative. I fully support a bike corridor on Lincoln Street. Any place but Broad
Street—and it's not that I'm a NIMBY.

Dear Heidi,
I'll be brief. Regarding a bike lane on Broad Street, don't even think about it. We are already a
town of narrow streets, and Broad Street is one of the few exceptions. Reduce the speed, put
PLEASE don't add a bike lane to Broad Street.
