RE: Roundabout Marsh/Higuera in Lower Downtown Planning Subarea
Greetings,
We write this to you as property owners, Frame Works business owners and residents of 339 Marsh Street at
the Marsh Higuera intersection.
We encourage approval and implementation of the pedestrian, bicycle, vehicle circulation improvements at
Marsh and Higuera. Seldom does a day go by that we do not see minor accidents and near accidents at this
intersection. Safety for residents and visitors would be greatly improved with a well thought out
roundabout. It would truly result in an impressive and well functioning gateway to downtown.
With the proposed development of the San Luis Ranch area, the connection between Madonna Road and
downtown is becoming increasingly important for the safety, enjoyment and welfare of pedestrian and bicycle
users. Further the tie in between San Luis Creek and San Luis Mountain would be a great city asset.
We ask that you give the roundabout a high priority and move towards implementation.
Thank you for your service to our city.
