I'm sending this to you as a an advocate for housing in San Luis Obispo. Both "for sale" housing and rental housing in
needed.
I will assume you have heard all the reasons why we need this housing, and the reasons for concerns to add housing in
this location, I hope you will see the benefits more housing will bring to our City.
The one point I will make and it does not seem to get much traction, is the overall return the city receives when people
live in the city. It is my opinion, including but not limited to, schools benefit, the tax dollar return should be considered,
people attending local events/venues, the sense of community, church membership and I would hope some stress relief
for those that are able to take advantage of living here vs. driving here and driving home.
