Dear City Council,
I am a mother of three children and wife to an amazing husban who has worked really hard along with me for
the past 16yrs to provide the best possible for our family. We have been trying to achieve our next goal which
is to purchase a home for our family. We are a hard working family, loyal to our community and employment
areas. We have tried to look for affordable homes in our area but has been extremely difficult due to the
extremely high prices in San Luis Obispo. We would hate to have to relocate and leave behind the town that we
love, and has raised our children. And because of that, I am asking you today to please allow the Avila Ranch
Project to be approved. I believe that with the workforce housing availability, it will make our chances of
obtaining a home much greater than they are now. Please think about how difficult and upsetting it would be to
relocate a family that has known SLO as their only home. I thank you for your time and hope that we get great
results for our lovely and proud community.
