Subject:Avila Valley Ranch DANGERS
I live on Evans Road. It has been my home for almost 30 years. I've watched the area grow and Buckley Road has gained
a TREMENDOUS amount of traffic in the last few years especially since the newer construction in the area and the
relocation of San Luis Garbage Co. to Old Santa Fe Road. The Avila Valley Ranch will make Buckley Road significantly
more dangerous to drive and bicycle on. The Ranch has no business being built if these dangers are not addressed prior
to construction. Buckley Road should not be made to directly access South Higuera before it is made safer to drive on and
safer to access from the roads that access it like Jesperson, Hoover, Davenport Creek, Mello Lane, and Thread Lane.
Traffic increase has made it very difficult to turn off these roads onto Buckley. The blinding sun, fences and narrow lanes
impede driver vision and need to be changed. Of course these developers have the money to get this done. Now we need
the time. Please do your diligent duty as City Council members and halt the project until Buckley Road can be made safer.
