I am living off campus in a house on the corner of Leroy Court and McCollum. I am contacting you today on behalf of the residents of Leroy Court. We are negatively affected by the new 2 hour parking area that has been implemented this year. Leroy Court has no parking itself due to the fire lanes that wrap the whole court. Also, the residents of Leroy are not able to attain a parking pass for McCollum since our address is not McCollum. Because of this, our residents are constantly getting ticketed. The solutions I was presented with were to park on Fredericks Street, one street over. However, that parking is highly congested as well, and as a house full of girls, we are not comfortable with parking so far away at night by ourselves. The residents of Leroy Court are asking for your help. We need the 2 hour parking limit removed, or at least given the opportunity to attain a parking pass for McCollum. I will be attending the City Council meeting tonight to address my concerns. Thank you, Madalyn Souza 559-740-8901 madalynsouza@gmail.com 1
