Subject:City Council 10/17/17 item #10 extension of night hours on San Luis Mountain
We object to the proposed extension of winter hours for recreation on San Luis Mountain. The present hours of one
hour before sunrise until one hour after sunset are already very generous. This is not a park, it is a natural reserve and
wildlife and their habitat need time without human presence to survive.
As longtime residents of Serrano Dr., we are also concerned with the greatly increased possibility of fires , trespassing
and vandalism in adjacent neighborhoods.
Please have a heart for wildlife and neighborhoods in our City.
