I am writing to ask that you vote against the proposed extension of night- time hours for mountain biking and hiking.
The current hours for use allows for wildlife to have their limited time without the interruption of human beings.
The number one reason for San Luis Mountain's designation as a Natural Reserve is for the protection of wildlife and
their habitat. Please do not lose sight of this as you deliberate. People have other choices in the area where they can
exercise. Please respect the rights and needs of wildlife.
As a neighbor in close proximity to the Mountain I also question the possibility of danger to first responders and
neighborhood residents in rescues and fires.
