Subject:Opposed to Extending Hours on Cerro San Luis
Dear Council Members,
We own a home at the trail entrance to Cerro San Luis from S. Tassajara and we are adamantly opposed to the extension
of night mountain biking/hiking on San Luis Mountain Natural Reserve. We, along with many residents flanking Cerro
San Luis, as well as others concerned about our natural resources, urge you not to approve this environmentally-
irresponsible, myopic proposal. We stand with many others in saying that this action contravenes the very reason for
and intent behind creating natural reserves in the first place. There is no need for this change. Please don't surrender
good environmental stewardship to the whims of a boisterous and self-centered special interest, many of whom aren't
even residents of our city.
