Dear San Luis Obispo,City Council Members,
It is my wish for all of you to keep it your priority to LISTEN to ALL citizens in San Luis Obispo. You were trusted to do
just that in the last election. It is hoped that the goals of the current SLO City Council are indeed considering the good of
ALL who love living here. Looking at the big picture matters.
Wildlife matters, neighborhoods matter, bicycle safety matters. Common sense matters. The current issue of turning
wildlife reserves into nighttime recreational areas...simply ludicrous.
San Luis Obispo has become the treasured place it is because of good leadership in the past. Jamming in more mass
housing and not limiting student rental ratios within our city neighborhoods has already taken away much of the charm
of our city. City streets are becoming more crowded with each and every new development. No road in this town is
safe for bicycling, and painting new lines and putting up signs means little. Bicycle and walking paths would need to
have natural barriers from motor vehicles before I will ever risk my life riding anywhere in this town, and I love to ride.
So many decisions are currently in your hands. Our future depends on you, all elected to keep the beautiful town San
Luis Obispo the wonderful place it is known to be.
