Mayor Harmon and Council Members,
This is a post scriptum to what I sent earlier.
Some of us received an email explaining that item 10 is about balancing the protection of open space and habitat with
"social justice." I have often heard the term "social justice" applied to racial and gender equality, right to dignity, to
shelter, to work, to childcare, to education, but until now, I had never heard it debased to the level of the right to hike
or ride your bike in a natural reserve at night, and scare the devil out of wildlife. If this is your idea of social justice, we
are in serious trouble in San Luis Obispo.
