Below are photos of some of the reasons why. Luneta Dr. is currently the safest street in our neighborhood and lends itself to a variety of activities besides the driving of cars. In my opinion the number one problem with Ramona Dr. is speeding and reckless driving. Ramona Dr. is slated to receive traffic calming devices/structures through Safe Route to School and a Neighborhood Traffic Management Plan. Only a small section of Ramona Dr. is over the limit of cars per day, the section between Tassajara and Broad. Removing the buses from that section and installing traffic calming devices would greatly improve safety on Ramona Dr. Openimg Luneta Dr. wouldn’t do much to help with this problem. Please protect Luneta Dr. and ask staff to start implementing traffic calming devices on Ramona Dr. Thank you.
