It is too modern-looking for this historic San Luis Obispo location and not at all compatible with the existing architecture on on Marsh Street, or Nipomo Street. It should not it be allowed to be plopped down like an insult - it looks like it was designed by an architect completely unfamiliar with the location, or the character of the location. I am shocked it has been allowed to proceed this far in the approval stage. It should be redesigned to at least acknowledge that it is in close proximity to the Jack House, as the bank building directly south of the Jack House has done so beautifully. Lose the large amounts of glass. Lose the sharp right angles. Lose the massiveness of the big square box design. Choose materials that in color and texture are appropriate to the site. Please send this inappropriate project back to the drawing board. Sincerely, Patricia Everett Sent from my iPad 1
