HomeMy WebLinkAboutSignage at 122 Cross Street (Idler) - received 12-11-2017 Purrington, Teresa From:Bryan Idler <bryan@idlershome.com> Sent:Monday, To:Advisory Bodies Subject:ARC communication Importance:High Council – I’m writing to express my sincere displeasure with the recent decision to not permit new south facing signage on our building at 122 Cross st. that would be the exact same size as the current signage at 44 Sq. Ft which was permitted and approved by yourselves when we built this building back in 1999. This decision will need to be reversed in order for our organization to be in good standing with the city and I feel like this exact type of restriction is why more small business aren’t choosing to set up shop in our community. Creating jobs and providing goods and services in SLO county since 1954 shouldn’t be mired by our cities governing body. Please consider your initial decision and submit an exception for a sign that changes nothing in the way of the buildings presence or architectural characteristics from what it currently is.
