Subject: Proposed revision of Ordinance #1130
Dear Mr. Davidson,
My home is located along San Luis Creek at 1720 San Luis Drive. I have been fortunate to enjoy this wonderful natural
setting since 1987. I appreciate the opportunity to have input on the proposed revision of Ordinance #1130. I support
the proposal that our neighborhood has collaborated on and is presenting to the Planning Commission.
Item #14 in the proposed revision is of particular concern to me. I feel that there should not be a public path or
creekside trail along the creek bank. My fear is that in the future someone might think it would be a good idea to put in
a path connecting present and future motels along the creek to the downtown core. I feel a path would harm the
sensitive riparian ecosystem that is vital to the good health of San Luis Creek. I think the creek should be protected for
the sake of the wildlife that depends on it and for future generations to appreciate and enjoy.
Sincerely,
Joan Collier
