I have been fortunate to enjoy this wonderful natural setting since 1987. I appreciate the opportunity to have input on the proposed revision of Ordinance #1130. I support the proposal that our neighborhood has collaborated on and is presenting to the Planning Commission. Item #14 in the proposed revision is of particular concern to me. I feel that there should not be a public path or creekside trail along the creek bank. My fear is that in the future someone might think it would be a good idea to put in a path connecting present and future motels along the creek to the downtown core. I feel a path would harm the sensitive riparian ecosystem that is vital to the good health of San Luis Creek. I think the creek should be protected for the sake of the wildlife that depends on it and for future generations to appreciate and enjoy. Sincerely, Joan Collier 1720 San Luis Drive San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 1
