One is located at 949 Higuera Street and other is located at 686 Higuera Street. 949 Higuera Street The applicant, Mark Rawson, is proposing at 949 Higuera Street to replace a mature, healthy Ficus Macrocarpa with another tree that will conform to the City’s specifications. There is no evidence of serious damage to the sidewalk and the prospect for street widening at this location is many years off per the current City’s list of Capital Improvement Projects (CIP’s). This existing Ficus Macrocarpa or Indian Laurel Fig - a magnificent 55-foot tall, healthy specimen - should be preserved. 686 Higuera Street There is no arborist report submitted for this tree but our comments above apply to this tree as well. Moreover, there is no Indian Laurel Fig located 919 Palm Street. Thank you! Rcvd 04-20-2018 Item 6 & 8
