Special Meeting of the Administrative Review Board
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 11:04 a.m. by Chair Matthew LaFon.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Board Members Daniel Knight, Michelle Tasseff, and Chair Matthew LaFon
Absent: None
Staff: Jon Ansolabehere, Assistant City Attorney, and Kevin Christian, Recording Secretary
BUSINESS ITEMS
B1. Minutes of June 7, 2016 Administrative Review Board Special Meeting
ACTION: MOTION BY BOARD MEMBER KNIGHT, SECOND BY CHAIR LAFON,
CARRIED (3-0) to approve the Minutes of June 7, 2016.
B2. Administrative Citation Appeal
At 11:05 the Board postponed the appeal hearing for five minutes as the appellant was
not present.
Commencing at 11:10 the board reviewed the discussed the appeal submitted by
Christopher Rini for Police Department Administrative Citation #19866.

ACTION: MOTION BY CHAIR LAFON, SECOND BY BOARD MEMBER KNIGHT,
CARRIED (3-0) to adopt a resolution entitled “A Resolution of the Administrative Review
Board of the City of San Luis Obispo, California, denying the appeal of Christopher Rini and
upholding Administrative Citation No. 19866” with the following amendment:
Section 1, Item 10 to read: The due date for payment of the fine shall be thirty days (not less than
ten days nor more than thirty days after the date the decision is mailed).
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 11:20 a.m.
