Dear SLO Planning Commissioners,
I support this development so that we can offer workforce housing in San Luis Obispo proper. We need to reduce
barriers to affordable work-force housing, especially sustainable and modest efforts such as the San Luis Ranch
proposal.
I highly value the lifestyle and environment of the central coast, but we cannot afford to delay or deny projects such
as this one. The county needs to offer more housing so we can have a fully functional economy AND
citizenry. Companies will continue to depart as their workforce cannot find adequate or affordable housing. This
poses a significant threat to our current economy and lifestyle.
