To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing to express my support for the San Luis Ranch project and other housing projects alike. As a Cal Poly
Graduate in 2011, I was one of the lucky few who found a job and was able to stay in the area.
I have been fortunate enough to work my way up in my company and am now the General Manager. I make a good
salary and still feel the struggle in finding affordable housing in San Luis Obispo, especially for someone who is just
starting off. I am growing tired of paying excessive amounts in rent for run-down places when I would prefer to start
building a permanent future for myself and the family I plan to have.
For a city that values its Cal Poly alumni’s, it is disappointing to have such a difficult time creating a life here. My hope is
that the San Luis Ranch project will be approved so that people that are truly working in the community will have the
opportunity to own a home in the area, instead of just investors who rent the homes out.
I thank you for your time and consideration of what I have to say.
