Subject:Planning commission 6/28/18. SL Ranch environmental impact
I am in strong opposition to the SL Ranch project.
Although many hear the words “affordable housing” as a panacea for all that ails us, and the mantra greedy developers
are quick to use, this project demands too high a price;
in environmental impact, exploitation of resources, lack of adequate infrastructure, and quality of life.
Building more huge developments for a couple of “affordable homes” is NOT the answer.
Smart, sustainable, sensible planning is.
