Subject:San Luis Ranch Housing Project
Dear SLO Planning Commissioners,
My fiancée and I are really looking forward to this housing project. We both live and work within San Luis Obispo and
have stable jobs serving the community. We have been following this project since the beginning once we read about
the priority to be given to SLO residents and workers. My fiancée is a teacher and I work for Pacific Beverage.
It has been a struggle to find affordable housing in SLO and we feel like we are getting pushed out by investors, the
wealthy, and college students renting out the rooms in the existing houses. We would like to get married and start a
family in the city we love and live in.
It would be a great opportunity to have access to affordable housing for us! We would like to see this project move
forward. Thank you!
