Planning Commission,
I write in support of approving the proposed development agreement for San Luis Ranch. As a real estate broker, I work
with many home buyers. Recently, I have heard many hopeful buyers ask about San Luis Ranch and indicate they may
wait until they can buy a home in that development. I typically caution them that the timeframe for potential occupancy
could be longer than what has been stated in media reports. Almost a year after project approval, a development
agreement is still being negotiated. This project is desired by so many in the community and it is no question that our
local workers seek additional housing options within City limits. This project provides infill and is sorely needed. I
encourage you to approve of the development agreement so this project can move forward, allowing the developer to
build a well thought out community that will soon be home to many families, local workforce and San Luis residents.
